Restorative Dentistry

At Kuna Dental, we offer a full range of restorative dental procedures that can renew and revitalize the health and appearance of your teeth and gums. These services are intended for patients who require repairs after extensive trauma or decay.

While many of these procedures also fall into the cosmetic dental category, these restorative services are necessary to fully restore the functionality of your mouth. We may use a combination of procedures that include:

Porcelain Crowns

We use our own CEREC machine to create your custom crowns or bridges while you’re still in the office. These crowns are designed to replace or fit over damaged or weakened teeth, and can also be used with implants or to cover a tooth after a root canal.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is an effective solution for replacing missing teeth. They use the surrounding teeth to anchor the replacement, which makes this a great alternative to implants if your jaw bone is not strong enough to support them.

Periodontal Therapy

Healthy gums are critical to your overall dental health. We use deep cleanings, root planing, and scaling to remove the bacteria that builds up around the gums to make sure this part of your mouth remains healthy.

Implants

Implants replace missing teeth with a synthetic structure that looks and feels just like your natural teeth. And since the titanium root actually bonds to the jaw bone, an implant is a strong and durable solution that can restore the functionality of your mouth.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy, also called endodontic treatment, is a routine, restorative dental treatment that can save your tooth and prevent potentially severe damage to your gums and jaw bone. With a root canal, we’ll remove the tooth decay, clean the tooth and apply a filling or crown to protect the tooth from additional disease and infection.

Do You Need a Full Mouth Rehabilitation?

Most people only need one or two restorative dental procedures to completely revitalize their mouths.

However, there are occasions when patients are experiencing severe pain or a complete loss of functionality. This is when a full mouth rehabilitation is the only solution.

This level of restoration is only recommended when there is a serious need, and involves rebuilding the teeth, fixing the gum line, and restoring jaw mechanics.

Don’t Wait

Our goal is to restore the bite, repair any damage, and alleviate pain. Contact us today to set up an appointment for these restorative dental services.
